Overview

Associates within the Atmos Disputes + Investigations team play a crucial role supporting our senior lawyers and clients as they navigate litigation and regulatory investigations arising from technology contract breaches, cyber breaches, privacy complainants and disputes, consumer law breaches, negligence claims, insurance claims, and other related digital law, technology, media and fintech disputes.

Future growth opportunities include class actions arising from privacy and security breaches as well as complex cross jurisdictional litigation with a strong tech focus.

Responsibilities

- Be the first point of contact for clients and provide prompt and efficient support helping them navigate the issues they face.
- Manage the client‑facing response to the dispute and/or regulatory investigation through the full lifecycle of the event, taking instructions and maintaining client files.
- Manage a team of high‑performing senior and junior lawyers, providing full mentorship and guidance to help them achieve their career goals.
- Ensure the event is fully communicated, recorded and tracked in accordance with Atmos best practice frameworks.

Key Skills & Experience

- Passion for cyber, data protection, privacy and technology disputes and a developing understanding of corresponding client regulatory obligations.
- Strong academic credentials and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Developing experience dealing with escalated, client‑facing issues,



as well as experience handling a high caseload.
- Ability to thrive in a rapid‑paced rapidly changing environment with a critical mind and fine‑tuned problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent time management skills and an ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
- Teamwork, collaboration and leadership skills, as well as the ability to be a self‑starter that effectively manages work independently.
