Early Childhood Educator – Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (Children’s Services)

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Certificate III Early Childhood Educator to join our professional team. This is a Full-time or Part-time opportunity for an educator who is committed to delivering high-quality educational programs while actively contributing to a strong child-safe culture.

About the Role

As a Certificate III Educator you will:

- Deliver high-quality education and care in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0), the National Quality Framework, the National Quality Standard and the service philosophy.
- Build warm, respectful and responsive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Plan, implement and evaluate engaging learning experiences that support each child's learning, development, wellbeing and participation.
- Promote children's rights, safety, inclusion, wellbeing and best interests through everyday practice.
- Maintain active supervision and contribute to safe learning environments that identify and minimise risks.
- Work collaboratively with the Leadership Team and colleagues to embed child-safe practices and continuous improvement across the service.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to assessment, planning and reflective practice.
- Participate in ongoing professional learning, including child safety, child protection and safeguarding training.





Essential Criteria

- ACECQA-approved Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
- Current NSW Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management qualifications.
- Approved Child Protection training (CHCPRT001 or equivalent).
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0), National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and Child Safe Standards.
- Demonstrated understanding of mandatory reporting obligations, professional boundaries and child protection responsibilities.
- Ability to recognise, respond to, document and report child safety concerns in accordance with legislation and organisational policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, colleagues and external professionals.
- Commitment to inclusion, cultural safety, equity, diversity and respectful relationships.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, confidentiality and commitment to continuous professional learning.
- Current National Child Safety Training certification
