Are you an experienced Fitter with strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of heavy industrial equipment? We're looking for a reliable, hands-on tradesperson to join our team and contribute to a wide range of overhaul, repair, and assembly projects across multiple sectors.

About our client

Provide's specialist overhaul and maintenance services to the Steelmaking, Paper, and Mining industries. Our workshop handles a broad variety of rotating and mechanical equipment, backed by a team of down-to-earth tradesmen who work independently but never hesitate to lend a hand.

What You'll Work On

You'll be involved in the overhaul, repair, and assembly of:

- Gearboxes, pumps, driveshafts & conveyor pulleys
- Bearing installations & rotating equipment
- Fans, impellers, rolls, shaft assemblies
- Crushers, hammer mills & similar machinery
- Brand new slurry pump assembly
- Flame hardening (heat treatment)
- Dynamic balancing of various components





Workshop Equipment

You'll have access to a fully equipped workshop, including:

- Manual lathes
- Manual mills
- Radial arm drill
- Surface grinder
- Hydraulic presses
- Dynamic balancing machine

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a Fitter who has:

- Experience in any of the above areas of heavy industrial equipment
- Solid mechanical sense and practical problem‑solving skills
- Good judgement, initiative, and life skills
- A positive attitude and ability to work well within a friendly team
- Reliability and pride in workmanship
