At the Bay Hotel, Motel, we’re looking for a motivated and passionate 1st Year Apprentice Chef to join our growing kitchen team. This is an opportunity to learn from experienced chefs in a fast-paced, modern hotel where quality food, teamwork and creativity are at the heart of everything we do.

You’ll complete your Certificate III in Commercial Cookery while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a skilled kitchen. This would suit someone who lived locally to Bonnells Bay

What you will learn includes but is not limited to

· Knife skills and food preparation

· Cooking across a modern pub menu

· Various cooking techniques

· Food safety and kitchen hygiene

· Stock rotation and kitchen organization

· Time management in a busy environment

· Working as part of a professional kitchen team

· Ability to work split shifts including evenings and weekends

· Great communication and teamwork skills

· No experience necessary just enthusiasm and a strong work ethic
