With over 28 years of industry experience, we specialise in diesel diagnostics, fuel injection systems, mechanical repairs, turbochargers, common rail systems and diesel engine management.
Our business continues to expand through investment in the latest technology, manufacturer partnerships and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. We are now seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Interpreter to join our growing team at our Kilburn facility.
Our workshop is equipped with industry-leading Bosch and Hartridge testing equipment, allowing us to diagnose, repair and calibrate the latest diesel fuel injection systems to manufacturer specifications.
About the Role
As an Automotive Parts Interpreter, you will play a vital role in supporting our workshop technicians, diesel pump room, trade customers and retail clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting automotive and diesel parts
- Preparing quotations and estimates
- Processing sales orders and invoices
- Sourcing parts from Australian and international suppliers
- Purchasing and supplier liaison
- Assisting workshop technicians with parts identification
- Inventory and stock control
- Processing warranty claims and returns
- Managing backorders and freight
- Providing exceptional customer service via phone, email and front counter
- Using Dealer Management Systems and electronic parts catalogues
- Supporting our expanding eCommerce operations
About You
The successful applicant will have:
- Previous experience as an Automotive Parts Interpreter
- Strong automotive parts knowledge (diesel experience highly regarded)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Solid computer literacy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work both independently and within a team
- A current driver's licence
Experience with Bosch, Denso, Delphi, Continental or diesel products will be highly regarded but is not essential.
