The Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our maintenance team, supporting a national fleet of mobile drilling equipment across multiple mining operations.

This is a hands-on role with real variety, travel, and exposure across site operations. Working a 14/14 roster, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and improving electrical systems across a mobile drill fleet. If you’re a motivated and adaptable Electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship and getting the job done right, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

- Commission, maintain, and support a fleet of Epiroc Smart 6M mobile drill rigs, including scheduled, breakdown, and statutory electrical servicing
- Maintain Raise Drill and Underground Diamond Drill fleets, covering all electrical maintenance including preventative, breakdown, and compliance work
- Perform electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs across mobile drilling equipment
- Drive equipment reliability and availability through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with statutory and site requirements




- Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to reduce downtime and improve performance

Qualifications / Requirements

- Licensed Electrician
- Electrical licences across WA, NSW, and QLD (or ability to obtain)
- Current Senior First Aid/CPR and Low Voltage Rescue
- Strong understanding of AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules
- Experience with PLCs, RCS control systems, AC drives, VFDs, and CAN bus fault finding (highly regarded)
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Current Police Clearance (within 6 months)
