About the role LD Total is a multi-award winning landscape company specialising in landscape architecture services, irrigation design, commercial landscape construction, maintenance and residential lot packages. At LD Total, our design team play an active role in shaping the company and the landscape with the focus on quality and innovative design and delivery of projects. In order to support the continued growth of our business in WA, LD Total is seeking appointment of a Landscape Architect to assist in providing fully integrated Landscape Architecture design and delivery of master planned land development communities including public open spaces, public sector projects, playgrounds, industrial estates, urban projects, and ecological projects.

There is the opportunity to further develop your professional and technical knowledge in all aspects of the landscaping industry through regular team building and social / professional networking events and UDIA / AILA affiliations. As a Design & Construct company we work alongside our construction team to ensure our landscape vision hits the ground.



This means more time to design and work with our clients and less time spent undertaking contractual tasks.

We work with a range of clients in Perth, from the large diversified property groups through to smaller developers and builders. Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop landscape architecture concepts for residential, commercial, and public projects
- Prepare design documentation, including plans, specifications, and reports
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, planners, and other stakeholders

-Conduct site analysis, feasibility assessments, and environmental impact considerations

- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Ensure compliance with Australian standards, planning regulations, and sustainability principles

Skills and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Landscape Architecture or a closely related field
- Minimum 12 months relevant work experience
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or GIS tools
- Strong knowledge of Australian standards and local planning frameworks
- Design, drafting and technical support for landscape projects on a variety of project sizes and complexities
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills
