Role Overview:
We are seeking a Payments Technical Specialist with Dynamics MPOS experience to join our team to work with one of our clients in Adelaide. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role (ideally related to a retail environment) and be a comfortable and confident self-starter with an inherent technical aptitude.
Working closely with Service Delivery Team, the role is responsible for the management of both payments application software and terminal hardware, testing, and support for major incidents / release and change / problem management. Given you will be a point of contact for several teams, excellent communication skills – spoken, written and interpersonal are required as is the need to be on-site on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Management of payments application software and terminal hardware
- Testing of payments solution in alignment to business objectives
- Providing support for major incidents providing root cause analysis
- Support of release and change management activities within the production environments
- Support of problem management process.
- Delivery of reporting, scheduling,
escalation, tracking and communication functions for the team
- Adherence to documented operational procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Operating collaboratively with team to elevate capability and consistency
About You:
- Experience with Dynamics MPOS functional areas preferably ERP, Modern POS, Retail, and Finance
- Knowledge of ITSM including automation/orchestration would be well regarded
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues methodically and efficiently
- A genuine passion for delivering quality support
- You will excel at developing / updating & maintaining process documentation
- Experience in complex enterprise IT Service Delivery environments
- Experience in dealing with third-party-provided services
