We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our operational activities across Australia and the APAC region from our Perth CBD office.

About the Role

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading the operational performance of the business across personnel, specialised equipment, and project delivery.

This is a senior leadership position responsible for ensuring projects are effectively planned, resourced, mobilised, executed and demobilised while driving operational excellence, safety, client satisfaction and commercial performance.

Working closely with Project Managers, Engineering, HSE, Finance and Executive Management, you will oversee operational resources across multiple concurrent projects throughout Australia and the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead operational planning and execution across multiple heavy lift and heavy transport projects.

- Manage operational budgets, resource allocation and fleet utilisation.

- Oversee mobilisation and demobilisation of personnel and specialised equipment.

- Ensure projects are appropriately resourced to meet client and contractual requirements.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

- Lead, mentor and develop operational personnel and site leadership teams.

- Oversee fleet maintenance planning, asset management and equipment compliance.





- Ensure operational compliance with company procedures, client requirements and HSE standards.

- Support workforce planning, mobilisation, roster management and operational logistics.

- Monitor operational performance and prepare management reports.

- Provide executive operational support to senior management.

- Promote continuous improvement across operational systems, processes and project delivery.

About You

You are an experienced operations leader with a strong background in heavy industry and complex project delivery. You enjoy leading people, improving operational performance and building strong client relationships.

You will bring:

- Degree qualifications in Operations Management, Business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior operational leadership role.

- Experience within heavy lift, heavy transport, construction, mining, logistics, infrastructure or a similar project workplace.

- Strong leadership and people management capability.

- Proven experience managing operational budgets and resources.

- Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills.

- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.

- High level organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Commitment to safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
