We work with major telecommunications clients across a range of projects including new fibre construction, network upgrades, maintenance, underground civil works, vacuum excavation, cable hauling and fibre splicing.

About the Role

As a Telecommunications Rod & Rope / Cable Hauler, you'll be involved in the construction and maintenance of underground telecommunications infrastructure.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Rod and rope installation through underground conduit networks

- Hauling fibre optic cable

- Assisting with fibre optic installations

- Locating and exposing underground services

- Vacuum excavation

- Pit and pipe construction and maintenance

- Working safely around live underground assets

About You

You are someone who:

- Has full working rights in Australia

- Has a white card/driver's licence/first aid-CPR

- Can work away from home when required for short periods of time

- Has current police check clearances

- Is prepared to undertake various tasks as requested

Experience in telecommunications, cable hauling or civil construction is highly regarded

- Asbestos Awareness

- Silica Awareness

- Traffic Management (TMI)

- Underground Asset Locating

- Confined Space

- Working at Heights

- Excavator Ticket

- Skid Steer Ticket

- Vacuum Excavation experience

- Rod & Rope experience

- Fibre cable hauling experience

- Civil construction experience
