Key Responsibilities :
We provide care 24/7, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our clients' needs. Duties may include but not limited to:
- Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship
- Deliver care in accordance with the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
- Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
Skills and Experience :
- Current experience in community care/ home care/ Support Work/AIN or working with clients with complex physical needs.
- Relevant Australian qualifications (Cert III or IV)
- A reliable vehicle and current Australian drivers licence, and are willing to travel to client homes in the region.
- Good communication skills and be courteous and responsive when we contact you.
- You will be flexible and available to commence work at 7am or 8am.
- You are a self led leader with the ability to take responsibility for your own behaviour & success, however you are also coachable to doing things the 'Nurse Next Door' way.
- You must be able speak and write in English, however other languages will also be an asset!
Mandatory Requirements
- ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
- NDIS Workers Screener Clearance
- Minimum Cert III in either Aged care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or extensive industry experience
- Current working rights in Australia
