About AlbatrossThe Albatross Health Centre is located at Nowra on the South Coast of NSW, approximately 2.5 hours from Sydney CBD. HMAS Albatross is the largest operational naval establishment in Australia and the Navy’s only air station. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, dental, mental health, physiotherapy, nursing and pharmaceutical services to up to 1500 ADF members. Standard hours of operation are generally 0730-1530 Monday-Friday, with medical officers on-call for aviation retrievals.
What You’ll DoDeliver high-quality primary care to Defence membersOccupational Medicine environment,



conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care, in addition to injury management, chronic disease management and preventative healthWork collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical setting where patient wellness is paramount
What You BringUnrestricted AHPRA registration as a General PractitionerFRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational RegistrationMinimum two years’ GP experience in the last five years in a General Practice SettingCurrent CPR certification (HLTAID009)Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
