We’re growing, and we’re looking for multiple, full-time casual Production Assemblers to join our brand-new Kilsyth facility - with the opportunity to move into a permanent role for those who thrive.

This is more than just an assembly role - it's an chance to develop valuable technical skills in a growing industry. As a Production Assembler, you'll work with small, delicate fibre optic components, helping to manufacture products that support communication networks around the world.

Success in this role relies on excellent hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills and meticulous attention to detail. You'll perform precision-based tasks that require patience, accuracy and a commitment to quality.

What you’ll do

- Perform precision tasks including gluing, polishing, testing and packing to produce high-quality outcomes

- Prepare and organise cables, connectors and enclosures by measuring, cutting and stripping components for assembly

- Assemble fibre optic products using small tools, specialised equipment and detailed instructions

- Inspect and check work at every stage to maintain accuracy and strict quality standards

- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised and efficient workspace

- Work collaboratively and independently to meet production targets and deadlines

What you’ll bring

- Solid fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, with the ability to work confidently with small components and tools





- A meticulous approach to your work and an eye for identifying even minor defects or inconsistencies

- Patience, focus and the ability to maintain accuracy when performing repetitive precision tasks

- A willingness to learn technical manufacturing processes and quality standards

- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment

- Strong organisational skills and a commitment to workplace safety and quality

- Experience in fine detail work such as electronics, assembly, jewellery-making, lab work or similar is highly regarded - this role requires strong fine motor skills and a high level of precision and care.

Please note: This role involves detailed assembly work using small components and requires a high level of precision and attention to detail. It is not a heavy warehouse, pick-packing or machine operation position.
