About the role

Tugun RLFC Inc is seeking a Duty Manager to join our hospitality and management team on a casual basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering exceptional service to our members and guests. As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all activities during your shifts, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring compliance with all operational procedures and policies.

We are also seeking a causal Level 3 Bar & Gaming Attendant (RSA & RSG Certification)

Key responsibilities

1. Overseeing all club operations during assigned shifts and ensuring smooth service delivery

2. Managing staff on duty, including supervision, task allocation, and performance monitoring

3. Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations

4. Addressing member and guest concerns promptly and professionally to maintain satisfaction

5. Managing cash handling, point-of-sale systems, and financial transactions securely

6. Conducting opening and closing procedures, including facility checks and security protocols

7. Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the venue

8. Reporting any maintenance issues, incidents, or unusual occurrences to management

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar supervisory role

2. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively

3. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele

4. Sound knowledge of health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations relevant to hospitality venues

5. Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer literacy

6. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Problem-solving mindset with a customer-service focus

8. Reliability and flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends

9. Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification

10. Current RSG (Responsible Service of Gambling) certification

11. RMLV (Responsible Management of Licenced Venue) certification
