About the role

Levanti pty ltd is seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team in Townsville, QLD. As a full-time Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in our busy restaurant kitchen. What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients

2. Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene

3. Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely meal preparation

4. Assisting with menu planning and development to align with customer preferences

5. Adhering to all health, safety and food safety regulations

6. Contributing to a positive and productive kitchen environment

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Chef in a rapid-paced, high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting

2. Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisine types

3. Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

4. Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment
