Position Title

Human Resources Advisor

Business

The position will provide human resources and workforce compliance support across the following business operations:

Care Medical Practice Pty Ltd

Care Medical Practice is establishing a physical general practice medical centres providing community-based primary healthcare services in Western Australia. Its workforce may include General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, registered and enrolled nurses, visiting specialists, allied health practitioners, pathology personnel, practice management staff, medical receptionists and administrative employees.

Care Telehealth

Care Telehealth is the telehealth division operated by Care Medical Practice Pty Ltd. It provides healthcare services through digital and remote consultation channels and may engage General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, specialists, allied health professionals, administrative personnel, technology support providers and independent contractors.

The Human Resources Advisor will support both Care Telehealth and Care Medical Practice under a coordinated HR and workforce governance framework, while recognising the different operational, clinical, credentialing, employment and remote-working requirements of telehealth and physical general practice services.

This position will initially be offered on a contract basis. Subject to the successful candidate's performance and the evolving operational requirements of the business, the role may be considered for transition to full-time employment requirements

Position Overview

The Human Resources Advisor will manage recruitment, employment documentation,



onboarding, workforce compliance and day-to-day HR support across Care Telehealth and Care Medical Practice.

The role will work closely with the Director, Practice Manager and clinical leadership team to establish practical and compliant HR processes for a growing healthcare organisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate recruitment for clinical and non-clinical roles.
- Prepare job advertisements, employment contracts, contractor agreements and variation letters.
- Screen candidates, arrange interviews and complete reference and pre-employment checks.
- Coordinate onboarding, induction, payroll information, system access and mandatory training.
- Verify work rights, qualifications, AHPRA registration, professional indemnity insurance and other required credentials.
- Maintain employee, contractor and workforce compliance records.
- Monitor registration, licence, training and document expiry dates.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and templates.
- Provide day-to-day advice on leave, attendance, employment conditions, workplace conduct and performance.
- Support probation reviews, performance management, grievances and disciplinary processes.
- Coordinate employee departures, final documentation and cancellation of system access.
- Assist with HR-related accreditation, clinical governance and compliance activities.
- Escalate complex employment,



legal or industrial relations matters when required.

Qualifications and Experience

- Qualification in human resources, employment relations, business administration or a related field.
- Previous experience as an HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar.
- Experience in recruitment, employment contracts, onboarding and employee relations.
- Sound understanding of Australian employment legislation, the National Employment Standards and relevant up-to-date awards.
- Strong communication, organisational and record-management skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information and work independently.

Healthcare, general practice, telehealth or regulated-industry experience is desirable.

Authority

The HR Advisor may coordinate recruitment, prepare approved employment documentation, request compliance records and provide general HR guidance.

Management approval is required before issuing formal employment offers, confirming remuneration, taking disciplinary action, terminating an engagement or making material changes to employment arrangements.

Confidentiality

The HR Advisor must maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all privacy, information-security and record-management requirements.
