About the Role

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, compliance, and supporting a busy workplace.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for payroll processing for the group of more than 350 employees accross multiple sites. This is a hands on leadership role that will see you managing payroll operations while driving process improvements and supporting future business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Acting as the key point of contact for payroll enquiries and issue resolution

- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance requirement, awards and the National Employment Standards

- Collaborating with HR, Finance, and external stakeholders to meet payroll compliance requirements

- Processing employee timesheets across the group fortnightly

- Maintain employee records, including assistance with onboarding and offboarding

- Manage timesheets, leave balances, superannuation and payroll queries

- Assist with payroll reporting and reconciliations

- Liaise with external providers (super funds, payroll software support, etc.)

- Maintain accurate records and filing systems

About You

- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

- Confident using payroll time sheeting systems and Microsoft Office (Excel essential)

- Knowledge of Tanda and Xero an advantage

- Well-organised with strong time management skills





- Professional communication skills and ability to deal with confidential information

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
