Heavy Construction equipment dealer in Richmond, CA seeking experienced heavy equipment diesel mechanics for field service. We are a small family-owned, non-union company with a big-company compensation and benefits package! We have locations throughout California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Washington. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Service customer equipment in shop or at customer’s jobsite
- Capable of completing jobs at or under manufacturer’s published flat rate repair times
- Ability to plan work and complete route maintenance services without supervision
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
- Must be able to work under pressure independently and as a team player
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40.00 - $58.00 per hour

Schedule
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- 499 Edison Court, Fairfield, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience
- Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience maintaining/servicing heavy equipment
- Equipment dealership background ideal
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted
- Welding experience
- Hydraulic & electrical experience
- Mid-level diagnostic ability
- Ability to do repairs such as welding, R & R of major components such as axles, engines, and transmissions
- Ability to perform repairs on components and attachments such as hammers and shears
- Engine certifications a plus
- Ability to understand instructions, written and verbal
- Possess a clean and valid Class B driver’s license, recent K4 printout required
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
