A new opportunity now exists for a Business Development Manager – North QLD. Reporting to the Eastern Regional Manager, this position will be based out of our Mackay branch with regular travel to our Moranbah branch. The role plays a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the existing client base while pursuing growth and current business development in accordance with regional sales, marketing and account management objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Development and execution of a regional sales plan to ensure short and long‑term objectives for sales, profit and market position are achieved
- Identify and develop new business within the North QLD region via prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing deals
- Manage client relationship through all phases of the sales cycle




- Provide accurate and timely feedback on market conditions, customer and project developments using the tools provided
- Provide accurate and timely reports as required

Attributes and Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in a business‑to‑business sales position
- Proven business development experience and sales results
- Experience working within the motor vehicle industry or an industrial services environment
- Advanced report‑writing skills
- High level of proficiency in MS Office suite
- Licence to drive manual vehicles (C class) essential
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Commerce, Business or related discipline advantageous
- Effective communication skills
- Effective decision‑making and problem‑solving skills
