Responsibilities

- In-depth knowledge of heavy industrial and process plant projects
- Fundamental knowledge of key Australian Standards
- Client interfacing
- Experience in detailed design of electrical, instrumentation and control systems
- Experience with power systems software

Qualifications & Experience

- Completed a Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia
- Minimum of 5 years’ post‑graduate experience working on industrial projects, delivering process plant projects in the energy, water or mining sectors, ensuring quality deliverables while meeting agreed schedules
- Applied knowledge of ‘in‑plant’ electrical distribution (MV and LV systems) and motor control systems




- Applied knowledge of relevant standards including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008.1.1 and AS/NZS 2067
- Experience across all project development phases including concept, FEED and detail design
- Ability to proactively interact with Project Managers, discipline engineers and designers to support project deliverables
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Understanding of renewable energy, industrial communications systems, SCADA, PLC/DCS, hazardous areas and functional safety would be viewed favourably
