We at Coforge are hiring Automation Test Engineer with the following skillset:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright and Karate
- Develop end-to-end, API, and UI automation test suites
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QE teams to ensure quality across releases
- Drive shift-left testing , CI/CD integration, and automation best practices
- Analyse test results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution
- Contribute to test strategy, estimation, and planning activities
Mandatory Skills
- Robust hands-on experience in Playwright (UI automation)
- Solid experience in Karate framework (API automation)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Good understanding of REST APIs , microservices, and test design techniques
- Experience with version control (Git)
Good to Have
- Experience in Retail domain (highly preferred)
- Exposure to BDD frameworks and tools
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
