A Cuppa, a Song and a Friendly Face

An older lady living in an aged care community in Greystanes is seeking the companionship of a volunteer to share some of life's simple pleasures.

She enjoys spending time chatting over a cup of tea, listening to music, singing familiar songs, and watching movies. A friendly visit filled with conversation, shared interests, and companionship would bring warmth and enjoyment to her week.

Sometimes it's the simple act of sitting together, sharing stories, and enjoying each other's company that can make the biggest difference.

Visits are preferred after 11am or after lunch on Thursdays.

If you enjoy connecting with older people and would like to help brighten someone's day through friendship and companionship, this could be the perfect volunteer prospect for you.

Requirements

18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare •

Build a meaningful connection through one-hour visits over six months or more. Visits are preferred after 11am or after lunch on Thursdays.
