Role Description This part time remote role combines responsibilities of an Accountant and Financial Analyst in support of ERDH’s sustainability projects. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements and reports related to project budgets, investments, and operating costs. The professional in this position monitors financial performance, assists in forecasting and scenario analysis, and supports funding applications or cost-benefit assessments for energy transition initiatives.

Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate records in accounting software, reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, and providing clear financial insights to project managers and stakeholders. The role also contributes to continuous improvement of financial processes and supports decision-making with data-driven analysis.

Qualifications





Strong foundation in Finance and experience working with Financial Statements.

Proficient Analytical Skills to interpret data, perform forecasts, and support decision-making.

Hands-on experience with Accounting Software and Financial Reporting.

Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and project-based accounting.

Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Attention to detail, accuracy in data handling, and strong organizational skills.

Relevant education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Experience with public sector, sustainability projects, or infrastructure initiatives is an advantage.

Professional proficiency in English; familiarity with Dutch financial context is beneficial.
