Your New Role You will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive support needs assessments by engaging with participants and their representatives to gather detailed, accurate information, ensuring a respectful, trauma-informed and person-centred approach throughout the process.
- Analysing, interpreting and synthesising complex information and external evidence to develop clear, evidence-based assessments that accurately reflect individual circumstances and inform appropriate support outcomes.
- Preparing high-quality written assessment reports that are transparent, consistent and aligned with legislative and policy frameworks,
ensuring decisions are transparent, defensible and uphold ethical standards.
- Communicating effectively with participants, families and stakeholders across a range of channels, explaining assessment processes and outcomes in a way that is accessible, inclusive and easy to understand.
What You Will Need to Succeed - A recognised tertiary qualification in an allied health or relevant clinical discipline (such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or similar) is a requirement for the role.
- Strong assessment capability and background, with the ability to gather, interpret and synthesise complex information to support clear, evidence-based decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to convey complex or sensitive information in a clear, respectful and accessible way across diverse audiences.
- Sound judgement and problem-solving ability, with experience applying policy and managing risk to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes in a complex environment.
The Logistics
Contract until December 31st, 2026, with a view of extension or permanency. Full-time & Hybrid working arrangement. Hourly rate of $61.86 + super.
Australian
