ICU Registrar (Unaccredited) – 2h from Sydney

Start: August 2026. Interviews are being scheduled now. This position is for doctors looking to build solid critical‑care experience in a supportive environment while living in a beautiful region of NSW.

Role Structure – Critical Care Rotation

- ICU – 6 months
- Anaesthesia – 3 months
- Emergency – 3 months

Clinical Exposure

- Advanced life support & resuscitation
- Arterial / central venous access
- Thoracotomy & emergency procedures
- Critical care patient management
- Multidisciplinary ICU care

Hospital Overview

The hospital is the main acute‑care facility for the region, employs over 1,000 staff and offers Emergency, medical, surgical & orthopaedic services; ICU with high‑dependency and coronary care; Children's Ward and Maternity Unit; Regional Cancer Care Centre; Sub‑acute Mental Health Unit. It is undergoing a $500 million redevelopment, expanding services and facilities.

Requirements

- MBBS or equivalent
- AHPRA registration
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Medical Officer
