Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia, we support people facing challenges with alcohol and other drugs (AOD), mental health, harm minimisation, veterans' wellbeing and gambling.
We're looking for an accomplished and values-driven leader to join our Clinical Directorate as Assistant Clinical Director (Service Delivery). This is an exciting opportunity to lead service excellence across a diverse portfolio while shaping the future of clinical service delivery within one of Australia's leading community-based health and wellbeing organisations.
Your opportunity
Reporting to the Clinical Director, you will lead service excellence, clinical governance and workforce capability across multiple regions. Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you will ensure services are safe, effective, culturally responsive and aligned with best-practice models of care.
You will support and coach clinical leaders, drive quality improvement initiatives, oversee risk and compliance, and contribute to organisational strategy and service growth.
What you'll be doing In this role you'll:
Lead clinical operations across multiple services and locations Drive service quality, performance and accountability Strengthen clinical governance, risk management and compliance Lead accreditation and continuous improvement activities Support workforce planning, leadership development and succession planning Implement new programs and service growth initiatives Build partnerships with funders, health networks and community stakeholders Promote trauma-informed, culturally safe and evidence-based practice
What we're looking for
You’ll be a senior leader with experience in AOD, mental health, community services or a related sector and a demonstrated ability to lead complex service environments.
You'll also have
Significant leadership experience across multiple services or sites Strong governance, risk and quality improvement expertise Experience leading organisational change and transformation Knowledge of evidence-based and trauma-informed practice Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills Strong strategic, operational and people leadership capability Relevant tertiary qualifications Current Queensland Driver Licence National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
This role requires regular travel across Lives Lived Well locations and participation in leadership activities outside standard business hours, including on-call leadership rosters.
