We’re seeking an experienced Assistant National Operations Manager to support our operations.

The role

Working closely with the National Operations Manager, you will:

- Coordinate freight, labour and equipment to meet daily customer requirements
- Support and lead operations employees across the Mildura depot
- Monitor KPIs, costs, service levels and equipment utilisation
- Manage performance, training and workforce requirements
- Work with the workshop,



warehouse and yard teams to maintain operational continuity
- Ensure compliance with WHS, Chain of Responsibility and quality requirements
- Step into key operational roles during planned and unplanned leave
- Identify and drive continuous improvement across transport operations

About you

You will bring:
- At least five years’ transport industry experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated people-management and leadership experience
- Strong operational, customer-service and problem-solving skills
- Sound knowledge of transport safety and compliance requirements
- Explicit written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
