What you’ll do
As the end to end leader of the Melbourne North CFC, you’ll be a transformative leader ready to leave your mark on a brand new, cutting edge automated site in Broadmeadows, Taking end to end responsibility for the Melbourne North CFC's P&L;, safety, team, customer outcomes and operational performance KPIs
- Oversee the operations, systems, optimisation, continuous improvement, facilities and capability teams
- Champion the customer in every operational decision. Deliver industry leading metrics across product quality, availability, fulfillment and on time delivery.
- Balance manual operations with high tech automation capabilities.
- Establish robust operating rhythms, optimise inventory flow and ensure continuous improvement using data driven insights
- Lead, inspire and grow a diverse workforce of 600+ team members. Build a culture grounded in trust, psychological safety, authentic leadership and high performance
- Build strong collaborative relationships across internal functions and hold site automation partners accountable to deliver optimal results
What you’ll bring
- Senior operational leadership experience within automated manufacturing, high volume fulfillment, retail leadership or production environments.
- Strong understanding of highly automated fulfillment/engineering principles, continuous improvement methodologies, systems/data integrity and online e-commerce or logistics fundamentals. S&OP; experience is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience managing site P&Ls;, navigating financial constraints and delivering on key profitability targets.
- Proven track record of leading large, complex teams through periods of rapid growth, disruption or transformation
- A customer-obsessed, authentic and visible leadership style with a relentless focus on safety, continuous improvement and team development.
