Autolec QLD has proudly serviced Toowoomba and the Darling Downs for more than 10 years. We are looking to recruit a qualified Auto Electrician or a motivated apprentice who already has some hands-on auto electrical experience and is keen to further develop their skills. This role is suited to someone who is confident, reliable, and capable of working independently. As the majority of our work is field-based, you'll enjoy a diverse role where no two days are ever the same.

Your duties will include installing and repairing electrical wiring and automotive air conditioning repairs on a wide variety of vehicles, trucks, earthmoving equipment, and farm machinery.

Role Responsibilities:

- Diagnosing electrical and air conditioning issues.
- Repairs, maintenance and re-gasing of air conditioning systems.
- Diagnosing electrical issues and proposing a course of action.
- Servicing and repairing electrical systems on agricultural and earthmoving equipment.




- Installation of aftermarket accessories to new and used vehicles.

Requirements:

- Auto Electrical Trade Certificate or current apprenticeship (2nd,3rd or 4th year) with relevant industry experience.
- Knowledge of working on a wide variety of vehicles, earth moving equipment, trucks and machinery.
- Complex problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate electrical diagnostic equipment.
- Valuable communication skills.
- Automotive air conditioning licence is required or willing to be obtained.
