Storebuild Australia is a leading commercial shopfitting and construction company delivering high quality retail, hospitality and commercial fit-out projects across Australia. We are seeking an experienced part-time Bookkeeper, Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer to join our finance team based in Ringwood.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a hands-on role that will see you supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business across multiple entities while working closely with our project, purchasing and management teams.

About the Role

This diverse role combines bookkeeping, accounts payable, payroll, compliance and administration responsibilities. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, timely payroll processing and ongoing compliance within the commercial construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage Accounts Payable processes alongside the existing accounts team
- Support Accounts Receivable and debtor management activities
- Perform bank reconciliations across multiple entities
- Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules
- Process weekly payroll, including EBA interpretation and compliance
- Manage payroll-related queries from employees
- Process general ledger allocations and reconciliations
- Assist with BAS preparation and month-end reporting
- Prepare and lodge payroll tax, superannuation, Incolink and CoInvest returns
- Support contractor reporting and TPAR obligations
- Assist with builder licence, insurance and compliance administration
- Provide financial reporting support,



including job profitability reporting
- Assist with HR administration and compliance when required

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping, Accounting or related qualification
- Minimum 3 years bookkeeping and payroll experience
- Experience within the commercial construction, shopfitting or building industry (highly regarded)
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and payroll processing
- Experience working with Construction EBAs and industry compliance requirements
- Advanced Xero skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple departments
- Professional maturity, discretion and integrity
- A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and willingness to take ownership of your work
