You'll partner with a supportive, experienced Finance Manager, taking ownership of the day to day bookkeeping while helping optimise our ERP system, streamline finance processes and use technology and automation to improve the way work gets done.

This is a permanent part time position working 20 hours across four days per week. The full-time equivalent salary is from $85,000 plus superannuation, pro rata. Once established, you'll have the flexibility to work from home one day each week.

The Role
This is a role where your initiative will be valued and your contribution will extend well beyond traditional bookkeeping.
What you’ll be doing
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Invoicing and payment processing
- Bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations
- BAS, IAS and month-end processing
- Supporting financial reporting
- Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive tasks
- Improving finance processes and helping optimise our ERP system (Total Synergy)
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to solve problems before they become issues
What you’ll bring
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping & Accounting, or equivalent practical experience backed by strong bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals.
- Strong experience using Xero and advanced Excel skills.
- High digital literacy, with confidence learning recent systems and using technology to improve the way work gets done.
- A track record of improving processes, embracing automation and making business systems work more effectively.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
