ModuSpec is seeking additional experienced BOP Surveyors to support inspection, verification and rig intake projects across Australia and the wider region, in line with growing demand. Role The BOP Surveyor will provide independent assurance of well control equipment, supporting safe and compliant drilling operations.
Responsibilities Include Inspection and verification of BOP systems and associated equipment
Review of maintenance systems, certification and technical documentation
Witnessing and verification of function and pressure testing
Support to rig intake, commissioning and operational assurance scopes
Identification and reporting of equipment condition and integrity issues
Preparation of daily reports and final client deliverables
Liaison with offshore and onshore personnel as an independent representative Requirements Proven experience working with BOP systems within drilling operations
Strong understanding of BOP components, control systems, and testing practices
Experience reviewing maintenance records and certification documentation
Background with a drilling contractor, OEM, or inspection/service provider
Solid reporting skills and attention to detail
Willingness to travel across Australia and internationally Relevant industry training and previous surveyor or inspection experience are preferred.
