About the Role

We're partnering with a leading Defence organisation to recruit an experienced Business Analyst for a long-term project supporting a major Defence Maritime capability program based in Adelaide.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative project team and contribute to the planning, reporting and delivery of a complex Defence program.

Working closely with project managers and key stakeholders, you will support project planning and governance activities while providing analysis and reporting to assist informed decision-making across the program.

- 12 month contract + high probability for extension
- Adelaide based, on site
- NV1 Security Clearance, or higher

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct business and project analysis to support project delivery
- Analyse project schedules and performance data
- Prepare project reports, dashboards and status updates
- Perform benchmarking and trend analysis
- Support project risk identification, analysis and reporting
- Work collaboratively with project managers and multidisciplinary Defence teams
- Contribute to project governance, planning and continuous improvement activities




- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide analytical support

About You To be successful, you will have:

- 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst within Defence or complex government projects (Maritime/Navy/Sea experience preferred)
- Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting project delivery within a PMO or project environment
- Experience with project scheduling or planning
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment
- An active NV1 Security Clearance
- You are able and willing to work onsite
