About CIMET
CIMET is a comparison, technology, and partnership business operating across utilities, broadband, insurance, and finance. We grow by building a national partner network of brokers, agents, and qualified services firms who connect their clients to essential services.
The Role
This is a hands-on sales role for someone ready to move from contact centre or appointment setting into business development. You will make calls, book meetings, attend appointments, and help close partnership deals. You will be supported by a senior team while building the skills to own your own pipeline.
Your Responsibilities
- Outbound calls to qualified prospects daily
- Book meetings with business owners and decision makers
- Build prospect lists and manage CRM pipeline
- Attend client meetings with the senior team
- Follow up by phone and email until deals close
- Use Claude and AI tools to improve outreach and workflows
What We Want
- 1 to 3 years in contact centre sales, phone sales, or B2B appointment setting
- Strong phone presence and objection handling
- Good written and spoken English
- Confident with AI tools, CRM systems, LinkedIn, and Google Workspace
- Coachable, energetic, and highly reliable
- Willing to attend in-person meetings in Sydney
Nice to Have
- Experience in energy, broadband, insurance, finance, or SaaS
- Experience with Claude, ChatGPT, Zapier, or Make
- Exposure to SME, broker, or partner channel sales
Career Path
This role grows into Business Development Manager, Partnerships Manager, or Channel Sales Manager. We promote based on performance, not tenure.
