Seeking a dynamic Business Development Specialist to drive growth at a leading law firm. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a vibrant legal practice, building strong client relationships and developing current business opportunities.

In this referrer/client-facing business development role, you will be responsible for actively reaching out to referrers and clients to generate new business opportunities and continue ongoing relationships. Using a combination of email outreach, phone calls and in-person meetings, you will initiate and meet with potential and ongoing referrers to the firm. Your role is critical to establishing and maintaining long-term referral partnerships.

You’ll be the first point of contact for many clients, so it’s essential to provide a professional, friendly, and impactful introduction to our services. You’ll play a key role in the development of the business of the firm.

As a Business Development Specialist, you will:

- Nurture existing client relationships
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement effective networking strategies to generate leads and build a strong professional network.
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans to achieve firm-wide goals.
- Work closely with lawyers and other team members to develop and implement winning strategies.
- Plan, organise and manage firm events




- Prepare reports and presentations on progress and outcomes to Partners and supervisors

Ideal Candidate:

- Strong experience in sales and or business development.
- Exceptional communication & networking skills with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop and implement effective business development plans.
- Passion for driving business growth and achieving targets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Australian drivers licence with access to a reliable vehicle
