About Us
ExhibitionCo is a full in-house exhibition and event company based on the Northern Beaches (Cromer, NSW). We design, build and install custom stands, joinery and event environments for clients across Australia — and we do it all ourselves, from the workshop to the show floor.
The Role
We're looking for a skilled cabinet maker who's just as comfortable on site as they are in the workshop. You'll be building custom cabinetry and joinery in our Cromer workshop, then heading out to install it — in venues, showrooms and event spaces around Sydney and beyond.

What You'll Be Doing
- Manufacturing custom cabinetry, joinery and fit-out elements in the workshop
- In office installation, scribing, fitting and finishing across a range of venues
- Reading and working from plans, shop drawings and cutting lists
- Machining and assembling a variety of materials — melamine, MDF, veneer, laminate,
solid timber
- Using hand and power tools, and workshop machinery
- Working alongside builders, designers and project managers
- Travel across Australia for installs (project dependent)
What We're Looking For
- Trade qualification or solid practical experience in cabinet making, joinery or shopfitting
- Confident on the tools and happy to get hands dirty
- Install experience an advantage — you know how to make it fit on site when the wall isn't square
- Reliable, punctual and takes pride in quality work
- Good communicator and team player
- Willing to learn and take on more responsibility over time
- NSW driver's licence, white card, forklift and EWP tickets preferred but not essential
Due to the nature of the work, you'll need to be flexible with hours — many of our installations run on weekends or outside normal business hours.
