- Casual positions available until 30 June 2027 Exciting Casual Opportunity: Community Support Worker About the Role At Eyre and Far North Local Health Network, we believe in empowering individuals to take control of their own care. As a Community Support Worker in our innovative Consumer Directed Care model, you will provide personalised care to people who are aged, frail, or living with a disability, helping them maintain independence and stay in their homes or Residential Aged Care facilities. In this role, you will deliver vital services like personal care, meal preparation, cleaning, transport, and social support. You’ll work closely with consumers, their families, and health professionals, helping them make decisions about their care while ensuring quality and compassionate outcomes. Key Criteria

- Experience in providing direct care services in a health-related field.
- Experience working with aged, frail, or disabled individuals.
- Ability to implement detailed care plans and follow instructions.
- To be appointed to the WHD4 level you must have completed Certificate III or higher in Individual Support. (Aged Care, Disability or Home and Community) Please refer to the job pack below for more details about responsibilities and essential and desirable criteria.

Tasks may include

- Personal care (showering, toileting, grooming, continence management).
- Household tasks (cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, minor gardening).
- Social support (transport, shopping assistance, mobility support).




- Assisting with self-medication under clinical supervision.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with consumers, families, and health professionals.
- At the WHD4 level you will provide personal care and support to clients with complex care needs.
