About the Role
As a Casual Sorter, you'll help transform generous community donations into quality stock for our Lifeline Shops.
What You’ll Do
- Sort donated goods according to Lifeline quality standards.
- Prepare stock for distribution to retail stores.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment.
- Support the Distribution Centre team with daily warehouse operations.
- Follow all WHS and manual handling procedures.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Experience in warehousing, retail, sorting or customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive, flexible and reliable attitude.
- A genuine commitment to Lifeline's mission and values.
- Previous charity or not-for-profit experience is highly regarded.
- WWCC, police check or willingness to obtain.
Desirable:
- Experience in the not-for-profit, retail, or warehousing sector.
- Knowledge of secure manual handling and WHS practices.
