Pay rate: $31.70 + Super + Shift Loading + Casual Loading. As a member of the Catering team at Maranatha, you will be preparing high quality food and providing a great dining service to our residents to ensure a high quality of life.
About the Role - Providing resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining service and assisting residents as required.
- Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit.
- Working in a protected manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures. What you’ll need - A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – desirable but not essential.
- Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
- Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people.
- Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families.
