- Multiple part-time, permanent opportunities available (up to 25 hours per fortnight).
- $33.79 per hour superannuation.

About the Role

As a Centre Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of everything that happens at Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre (GESAC) and Carnegie Memorial Swimming Pool (CMSP). This role is essential in ensuring that all departments are functioning seamlessly and effectively, being a source of support and motivation for staff and contributing to the overall success of our organisation.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead and inspire the team, providing clear guidance and support during shifts to ensure service standards are consistently met while fostering a positive work environment.
- Step into the role of Chief Warden in emergencies, ensuring the safe and efficient evacuation of the facility, while maintaining a calm, respectful and reassuring presence.
- Oversee day-to-day operations with a proactive approach, adjusting staffing and resources during peak periods to maintain smooth operations and deliver a seamless experience for all members and visitors.
- Offer hands-on support, assisting with plant management, water testing and dosing, while ensuring everything operates efficiently.
- Manage financial responsibilities with accuracy and integrity, handling cash and daily reconciliations, ensuring precision and upholding the highest standards of professionalism in all transactions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Experience in dispute resolution and critical thinking is ideal.
- Familiarity with GEL operational requirements and services.
- Previous experience managing teams or rosters is a bonus but not essential.
- Current CPR, First Aid, Pool Lifeguard, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates.
- Current Aquatic Technical Operator certificate (or willing to obtain).
- Please note: A key responsibility of this role is to be the Chief Warden in an emergency. Therefore, candidates are preferred to be at least 18 years old.
