Founded in 1998 in the heart of Sydney, Australia, MindChamps International Preschool & Early Learning is a leading early childhood education provider with 86 centres operating globally across Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Myanmar.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Director to join our Shellharbour centre on a permanent full-time basis. This 120-place service features modern facilities and state-of-the-art infrastructure designed to support our educators and provide an exceptional learning setting for children.

About the Position:

As the Centre Director, you will lead and support an established team of educators while building strong, positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community. You will have a genuine passion for early childhood education and enjoy inspiring educators by modelling best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the daily operations of the centre, ensuring smooth and effective service delivery
- Provide strong leadership, guidance, and support to educators to foster a positive and collaborative team culture
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain a high standard of education, care, and compliance
- Build strong relationships with children, families, educators, and the local community to support the centre’s growth and reputation
- Ensure the centre operates in line with the National Regulations, National Quality Standards, and all relevant legislative requirements
- Create an inspiring learning environment that supports children’s development, wellbeing, and learning outcomes





What We Are Looking For: The successful candidate will have:

- A Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and the assessment and rating process
- Experience with Qikkids and CCMS administration systems
- A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a Centre Director or similar leadership role
- A sound understanding of early childhood legislation, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams, with the ability to manage performance and resolve challenges effectively
- A commitment to reflective practice, continuous improvement, and creating a positive workplace culture
- A current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
