A pivotal opportunity now exists for an exceptional Chief Executive to lead RFDS SA/NT at a time of increasing demand, operational complexity and opportunity for growth and innovation. Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive is accountable for the overall performance, sustainability and strategic direction of the organisation. Leading a high-performing Executive Leadership Team, the role will drive the delivery of strategic priorities, ensure strong financial stewardship,
and maintain the highest standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
The Chief
Executive will balance mission delivery with commercial and operational performance, while strengthening stakeholder relationships and positioning the organisation for long-term success across both state and national contexts.
The successful candidate will be an accomplished senior executive with extensive experience leading complex, regulated organisations, ideally within healthcare, aviation or similarly high-consequence environments. You will bring strong strategic, financial and governance capability, along with a demonstrated ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams and drive organisational performance. A credible and engaging leader, you will have exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to represent the organisation at the highest levels.
