Chief Financial Officer | Straight Bat Private Equity | Melbourne or Sydney We're a Melbourne-based private equity firm that plays the long game, backing medium-sized Australian private businesses and partnering with founders for the long term. As we grow, we're creating our first-ever CFO role, and we're looking for someone exceptional. This is a hands-on seat, not a manage-from-a-distance one.

You'll own finance across the firm and its funds, fund accounting and investor reporting, tax, treasury and board reporting, AFSL obligations, deal modelling and due diligence, plus mentoring our Portfolio CFO and sitting on portfolio-company boards. You'll switch between strategy and the detail in the same afternoon, and you'll be trusted to hold the line.



You'll likely have:

15+ years in finance, with time as a CFO in private equity (ideally) or a fund setting A path through PE or a Big Four firm, then into private business

CA qualification (strongly preferred)
