Are you an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner ready to step into leadership? Or already leading, and looking for somewhere your decisions actually land?

We’re looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join either our Adelaide or Sydney team. Relocation expenses will be paid for.

Reporting to our National Service Delivery Manager, you'll provide clinical and operational leadership to a small team of Behaviour Support Practitioners across [greater Sydney and surrounding regions], while holding a reduced but complex caseload of your own — around [40%] of your week.

You will be the link between clinical practice and operational delivery in your region. Holding a key role in supporting practitioner development, maintaining clinical excellence and ensuring high-quality participant outcomes while fostering a positive, collaborative and values-driven culture. What you'll lead

Your team

Weekly one-on-one supervision with each practitioner in your region

Weekly group supervision with peers at matched experience levels

Recruitment, onboarding and retention

Contributing to staff development, performance reviews and professional growth planning

Clinical quality

Reviewing FBAs, interim plans and behaviour support plans before submission to the Commission

Escalation point for complex cases, restrictive practice decisions and risk

Incident, compliance and complaint management in line with NDIS Practice Standards

Supporting human-rights-based, neuro-affirming practice across every plan and daily practice

Operational delivery

Caseload allocation and workload balance across your team

Supporting practitioners to meet billable targets and documentation requirements Working collaboratively with senior leaders to improve systems, processes and service outcomes

Your own practice

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based behaviour support services to clients, while providing operational and clinical leadership to a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners The support you'll get

Clinical support isn't an add-on here — and that applies to leaders too.

Fortnightly one-on-one with the National Service Delivery Manager

Weekly clinical and leadership supervision for your own clinical and leadership development

Full administrative support - we take off as much admin as we can so you can focus on what you do best!

Direct input into national decisions on service delivery, quality and growth

You won't be building this alone. How you will work

Sydney — you'll work primarily from home, with the flexibility to structure your week around your team and your participants. While we don't have a physical office in Sydney, we prioritise connection, with monthly company-wide in-person catchups to collaborate, learn, and spend time together as a team.

Adelaide – We have a bright, light-filled city-fringe office, with views across Victoria Park—and you’re welcome to use it as much or as little as you like.

Some days you might want the energy of being around your team; other days you’ll work from home. You decide.

Regardless of your location, we offer

Flexible, work-from-home model

Autonomy over your schedule

No micromanagement — we trust you to do your job What you will get

$110,000 – $140,000 base salary + Super

Performance bonus potential

$1/km travel reimbursement

Protected leadership time — a genuinely reduced caseload, not a nominal one

Relocation budget provided A team small enough that what you build sticks What you will need

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Behavioural Science or a related allied health / human services discipline

NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration at Proficient level or above (Advanced or Specialist highly regarded)

Demonstrated experience supervising, mentoring or developing behaviour support practitioners

Solid understanding of NDIS Practice Standards, restrictive practice requirements, reportable incidents and human-rights frameworks

Sound clinical reasoning, and the judgement to know when to escalate and when to back your team

Ability to balance team support with operational accountability

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Confidence with IT systems and digital service delivery (e.g. telehealth)

Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check (or ability to obtain)

Driver's licence and own vehicle

Full Australian working rights Highly regarded: experience building clinical systems — supervision models, documentation standards, quality frameworks — rather than only operating within them. Apply here:
