Clinical Specialist (Redrock MedTech Ltd)

About the Role The Clinical Specialist is a healthcare professional who supports doctors, nurses, and hospitals in the safe and effective use of the company’s medical devices. This role combines clinical expertise, technical support, and education to ensure optimal product performance and strong customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend surgeries and medical procedures to provide hands-on technical support.
- Train surgeons, nurses, and hospital staff on device setup, operation, and best practices.
- Demonstrate new products and provide transparent clinical explanations during pre- and post-implementation activities.
- Troubleshoot equipment and resolve technical issues during procedures to support uninterrupted patient care.
- Assist the sales team with clinical expertise, including clinical Q&A; and product workflow support (not a direct sales role).
- Ensure device use aligns with company guidelines, regulatory requirements, and approved instructions for use (IFU).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals and key healthcare professionals within the assigned territory.
- Travel between hospitals as needed to meet procedure coverage and territory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of clinical cases, product usage, and customer feedback, and share insights with internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Science, Physiotherapy, or another allied health field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-5 years of relevant clinical experience (operating theatre/hospital experience preferred).
- Strong clinical communication skills and the ability to deliver training and presentations.
- Ability to work effectively in operating theatre environments and under procedure timelines.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and occasionally work outside normal hours for surgeries or urgent/emergency cases.
