Eligibility Right to work in the UK; UK resident Salary £17.26 – £18.45/hr (Approx. £35k-£37.5k) Potential Earnings With O/T, up to £48k-£62k Hours 39 hrs/week + overtime @ x 1.5 Shift Single Days: Mon-Thurs 7.30-16.30, Fri 7.30-12.30 Location Aintree, Liverpool Position There is an exciting position available for a CNC programmer, setter, operator to become part of our Medium & Large CNC Turning Cell teams at our Liverpool facility. As a subcontract machine shop, we specialize in producing one-off pieces and small batch runs, which allows us to make the most of our employees' skills. The role includes creating CNC programs from engineering drawings, selecting best methods of manufacture and tooling, proof & finish machining a wide range of component parts.

We have a wide range of machines in our medium and large CNC Turning cells, ranging from machines with 250mm chucks with 1m length capacity up to 600mm chucks with 3.2m length capacity. This allows us to machine wide range of parts from large chucking type work through to shafts up to 3.2m in length from various castings, forgings, bar stock & billets from various metal grades using advanced CNC Lathes with live tooling and programable steadies, utilizing both 'C' & 'Y' axis machining.

Essential Candidate

Requirements - NVQ 3 or equivalent - Proficient in programming, setting,



and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc Controls - Ability to work from detailed engineering drawings - Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Systems - Experience machining exotic metals (e.g., super duplex, duplex, 718, x750, Hastelloy, Monel) - Previous experience in a similar role (2yrs min) - Robust planning and organizing skills - Effective communication with peers and management - Attention to detail Preferred Experience (Not Essential) - Doosan Lathes (Chuck sizes ranging from 8” to 30”) (Lengths from 1m to 3.2m) - Manual Guide Programming capabilities - One CNC Programming Software package - C & Y axis programming and machining - Programmable steadies - Production of valve and pump components - Serving the Nuclear, Defence, oil, gas, fluid, and power generation sectors - Proficient in Office 365 and ERP Systems Benefits Joining our team offers competitive pay and numerous benefits, including:
