The Real Estate Institute of New South Wales Limited (REINSW) is the peak industry body for real estate professionals in NSW. We represent, support and advocate for the property services industry and provide practical tools, guidance, training and policy leadership for our members.

We are looking for a Property Manager who is looking to step sideways and is highly organised, proactive and relationship-focused Committees Executive to coordinate and continuously improve REINSW’s Committee and Chapter engagement function.

This is a key role within our Agency Services team, working closely with the General Counsel, Committees Co-ordinator, Committee members, and internal and external stakeholders.

About the role

The Committees Executive is responsible for coordinating REINSW’s Committee and Chapter engagement activities, including Committee meetings, sub-committees, stakeholder engagement, Committee-led initiatives, onboarding, Committee governance processes and the conversion of Committee expertise into practical member value.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, managing multiple moving parts, driving follow-through and supporting senior industry volunteers to contribute meaningfully to REINSW’s member and policy work.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will:

- build and maintain strong relationships with Committee members and support ongoing volunteer engagement;
- coordinate the annual Committee meeting calendar, agendas, meeting papers, attendance, minutes and action points;
- convene and attend Committee meetings and ensure discussions are productive, professional and kept on track;
- manage live Committee action points and follow up with staff, Committee members and stakeholders;
- coordinate ad hoc meetings and sub-committees for policy, legislative, REI Forms Live, events and project work;
- support Committee input into policy submissions, member resources, forms, agreements and industry guidance;
- coordinate Committee-led articles, eDMs, webinars, events and other initiatives;
- assist with Committee nominations,



elections, Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson processes and induction materials;
- act as the key escalation point for Committee and Chapter issues;
- supervise and support the Committees Co-ordinator; and
- support broader Agency Services projects and initiatives.

What we’re looking for

You will be a confident communicator with robust organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. You will be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, industry volunteers and internal teams, and you will know how to keep meetings, projects and action points moving.

A current real estate licence, and willingness to maintain the required qualification and complete annual CPD requirements, is essential.

You will ideally have

- at least 5 years’ experience in property management, stakeholder engagement and relationship management,;
- strong meeting coordination skills, including agendas, minutes, action registers and follow-up;
- excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- strong organisational and time management skills;
- confidence facilitating meetings and managing competing views professionally;
- good understanding of the real estate industry or willingness to develop industry knowledge;
- advanced Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams/Zoom and SharePoint skills; and
- experience using systems such as CRMs, DocuSign, SurveyMonkey or similar platforms.

Other information
