In this busy Parramatta based role the key responsibilities include -

Preparing communications collateral for various projects including media releases, briefing notes, newsletters, correspondence, consultation documents, website content and other materials as required.

Contributing to the planning, development and delivery of communications and engagement strategies for projects, ensuring alignment to the organisation's stakeholder engagement framework and other corporate guidelines and policies.

Collaborating with other Communications & Engagement Team members to ensure a consistent approach across projects and to identify communications needs for the projects.

Collaborating with project teams and stakeholders across the organisation to ensure communications and engagement functions contribute to the achievement of project objectives.

Managing multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail, stakeholder satisfaction and high-quality outcomes.





Relevant skills and experience required for the role -

- Relevant tertiary qualification in public policy, communications, media, or a related field.
- Experience delivering communications strategies, particularly on difficult and complex issues with sometimes-competing stakeholder interests.
- Experience across a wide range of communications and stakeholder engagement activities, including work with communities, government, industry and/or other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of media management and digital communications.
- Robust written and oral communication skills, including interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking skills to help resolve complex problems.
- Understanding and awareness of project management approaches
