ABOUT THE ORGANISATION Our client is a values-led philanthropic Foundation making a meaningful difference across the Geelong Region. Through grantmaking, partnerships and learning, the Foundation works alongside community organisations to help children and young people thrive, support safe housing, and strengthen vibrant communities.
The Foundation is seeking a Community Impact and Learning Lead to strengthen understanding of what drives meaningful change across its portfolio and inform future decisions.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role combines grantmaking, community relationships, learning and analysis to support informed funding decisions and stronger community outcomes.
You will manage the Foundation’s grants portfolio and grant rounds, build trusted relationships with community partners, and develop insights into outcomes across the portfolio.
Working with the General Manager, Board and community partners, you will gather and synthesise reporting, partner conversations, outcome evidence and community insights to identify themes, opportunities and practical recommendations.
This full-time role reports to the General Manager, is part of a small team, offers WFH up to two days per week and requires occasional flexibility for evening and weekend events or meetings.
ABOUT YOU
This role will suit someone who enjoys working with people, making sense of complex information, asks thoughtful questions and translates learning into practical recommendations.
You may come from philanthropy, grantmaking, community development, community services,
social impact, program management, evaluation, partnerships or the not-for-profit sector. Previous foundation experience is welcome but not essential.
You will help the Foundation:
- Strengthen the quality and effectiveness of the Foundation’s grantmaking.
- Build understanding of what is creating meaningful change across the Foundation's portfolio.
- Develop trusted and reciprocal relationships with community partners.
- Bring the Impact and Learning Framework to life across the portfolio.
- Turn reporting, outcome evidence and partner insights into meaningful learning.
- Identify emerging trends, opportunities and challenges across the portfolio.
- Support informed decision-making through clear analysis, recommendations and evidence.
You will have:
