Role Description This part-time remote role combines responsibilities in compliance analysis and data governance.

The Compliance

Analyst / Data Governance Manager will evaluate existing processes to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal standards, monitor risk, and recommend corrective actions as needed. Daily tasks include reviewing documentation, conducting compliance assessments, collaborating with finance and auditing stakeholders, and supporting the design of policies for data access, retention, and protection. The role also involves preparing transparent reports and communications for leadership, tracking remediation efforts, and helping maintain a structured data catalog and governance framework across systems.

This position requires proactive coordination with technical and non-technical teams to promote consistent and compliant data practices.

Qualifications

Strong regulatory compliance and auditing skills, with experience interpreting and applying relevant standards.





Robust analytical skills to assess processes, identify risks, and derive actionable insights.

Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Foundational knowledge in finance to understand financial controls, reporting requirements, and risk impacts.

Experience or familiarity with data governance frameworks, data quality practices, and information security principles.

Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Information Systems, Law) or equivalent practical experience.

Professional certifications in compliance, auditing, or data governance (such as CISA, CRISC, or similar) are beneficial.
